Father’s Day Gift Ideas

There are two critical moments for dads within any given year, their birthday and father’s day. Sure, a text might satisfy any obligation to celebrate the man who helped raise you or perhaps the person you’ve identified as a father figure for you in your life—but that isn’t the best way to celebrate him.

This father’s day step up your game with any of these tried and true gifts with a bonus creative option! Here are seven of the best options for your biological, adopted, or chosen father this year.

Grill Set

No father’s day would be complete without something related to grilling and not just because its dad. Father’s day falls in the height of summer making it a perfect time to get someone out there grilling. Why not drop the not-so-subtle hint that dad could make a great smoked brisket, bbq chicken, or the neighborhood’s best burger.

What I like about this is it has the basics like the spatula but also the bbq brush, and grill scraper. These bear claws will rip through any pork butt or carnitas like a hot knife through butter. Plus the zipper bag keeps it all together really nicely. Nab one of these kits from Amazon soon so you can get it in time.

New shoes

There is rarely a time when a new pair of shoes isn’t a perfect gift, especially if you know how your dad dresses on any given day. You can either help him up his game a little or fit right in with a comfortable daily shoe that he can wear running errands. But what if you could also give him the gift of a little height?

Chamaripa Elevator Shoe

Chamaripa is an elevator shoe that can add a little height without being overly obvious. This is truly a unique shoe and that’s what makes it such a great gift. I don’t care if your dad is 6ft. 7. add three more inches to his height and watch his whole world change.

They were kind enough to give me some coupon codes for my readers so feel free to us CH1, CH2 or CH3 to grab some extra savings.

Under eye cream & Moisturizer

Let’s face it, unless your dad also subscribes to our newsletter, Your Bearings, he might not have the best skincare routine. Buying an under eye cream and moisturizer can help steer him toward a rejuvenated daily routine that boosts his confidence and appearance on a regular basis. This isn’t just providing a product, it’s providing confidence.

New Watch

It might be a good time to try and get dad on a digital watch if he isn’t yet. Already has a watch? Great, does he have this Tsar Bamba Reactor watch? Well he should, and you could get it for him. Tsar Bomba is offering a 5% discount for Father’s Day this year. Check out the Reactor series or any one of their other luxury styles and hurry!

Tsar Bomba’s Reactor Series

Starting at $549, plus get 5% off until June. 16th, 2026.

Custom comic strip/book

Now it’s time for the fun and creative option. Even if your dad doesn’t like comics, how could he ever throw away something that was so carefully curated and crafted by you that also has his likeness depicted? What’s great about this option is it can tell a funny story about him or one where he saves the world. The opportunities and ideas are endless but here’s how you do it.

This one takes a little more time so make sure you plan ahead.

1.) Decide if you want to write the story or have someone else author it.

You can probably save a little money by writing up the story yourself. But I’m very confident you can find someone capable on Fiverr, and that’s exactly where you’ll go next anyway.

2.) Find a freelancer @ Fiverr

Log onto Fiverr.com, search “comic book design” and peruse the hundreds of artists out there. Before you order a design, message them first to make sure you have the specifics of the project down. You can sometimes discover unexplored possibilities this way. If zero AI is important to you, now would be a good time to ask. The artist is also going to need your books’ dimensions so you’ll need to find a printer. Some artists may have recommendations, mine are Uprinting.com or lulu.com. I also recommend checking locally to see if there are any printers near you.

3.) Find a printer.

Some artists may have recommendations, mine are Uprinting.com or lulu.com. I also recommend checking locally to see if there are any printers near you. Know what size you want the book to be and how many pages you’re going to need.

4.) Place the Order

Once the artist know what’s needed, they’ll work on the art then send it to you. Make sure you review everything and send them any suggested revisions that you need revised. Watch for matching lines, colors, and aesthetics across pages. They’ll send you a pdf of the book’s interior and you can then send that off to the printer for one heck of a unique father’s day gift.

I hope these suggestions come in handy for your this father’s day. If you have other suggestions, please add them in the comments below! I look forward to reading them.
